Auto Empire Carrier & Towing Services (Empker Investments t/a) is a family-owned transport company based in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape.
We started by spotting a gap in the industry: reliable transport for non-running vehicles. From working as a broker “middle-man”, we reinvested and bought our first 3-car carrier. Since then we’ve steadily grown into a trusted name in the car-carrier industry, serving clients across South Africa.

Our Story
When Marlon was retrenched from his job at a car-carrier company, we made a tough decision:
sell our personal car to buy a single-car trailer.

We started small, moving vehicles for dealerships and bodyshops in and around Port Elizabeth. Long before that, we were hustling – selling smoked fish and bunny chows on the streets and at building sites.
Later, while Marlon focused on the business, I worked as a Debtors Clerk at SPAR Eastern Cape’s Distribution Centre. As demand for our services grew, I resigned in May 2016 to join Auto Empire full-time.

We know what it means to start from nothing. With faith, perseverance, and hard work, we’ve grown this business step by step. That’s why every vehicle we transport is treated with the same care as our very first load.
